From September 2023, the department of pulmonology merged with the department of phthisiology and the department was named "Department of pulmonology and phthisiology with the course of clinical allergology" and the head of the department was Ph.D., Assoc. N.N. Ubaidullaeva was appointed.

Since 2022, Kafera has been improving the qualifications of more than 200 pulmonologists, allergists and a number of other specialists with the participation of specialists from the European Institute, using the quality of modern methods in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma diseases.

Department assistant G.T. Tashmetova's DSc thesis "Pathogenetic correlation of immune response biomarkers in the probability of development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and optimization of the approach to treatment" is about to be completed, preparations for the seminar have begun.

In 2024, the staff of the department published two monographs entitled "Predictive influence of risk factors on the condition of the respiratory system in young people and optimization of prevention methods" and "Optimization podkhodov ranney dianostik i profilikatika progressirovaniya chronicheskoy obstrutivnoy bolezni legkih sredi nasleniya krupnogo promyshlennogo tsentra" in 2024.
