Implementation of modern pedagogic, information technologies and distance education technology department of the Center for the Development of the Qualifications of Medical Workers (CDPQMW), ensuring the use of electronic and distance education technologies, A structural division was established in 2019, which ensures the development and use of digital educational resources, as well as the creation of conditions for effective online education.

The basis of distance education is the purposeful and controlled independent work of a student with access to distance education servers, who has the ability to study at a time convenient for him according to an individual schedule and interact interactively with a teacher.

The educational process using distance education is carried out in accordance with the curricula approved by the Central Educational and Methodological Council and the current regulatory documents regulating the educational process.

Admission of a student to study using distance education technologies is carried out in accordance with the rules of admission to the Center for the relevant academic year.

Educational programs that use distance learning are implemented in the following forms of training: off the job, on-the-job and partially off the job.

The department of modern pedagogic, introduction of information technologies and distance education technologies reports to the deputy director of CDPQMW for educational affairs and innovations to the director of the Scientific and Methodological Council of CDPQMW.

The organization of the educational process using distance education technologies is carried out in accordance with the current regulatory documents in the field of post-university and continuous medical education, as well as local documents of the Center.

The goal of the department of introduction of modern pedagogical and information technologies and distance education technologies is to effectively use modern teaching methods and technologies in the educational process and organize online education.

The tasks of the department are as follows:

• integration of modern technologies (for example, interactive whiteboards, online platforms, webinars) into educational programs and the educational process;
• teaching or improving the skills of effective use of information technologies in educational practice of professors-pedagogues;
• work on the development and support of distance education programs, platforms and resources;
• optimization of technology introduction processes, training and knowledge assessment;
• striving to improve the quality of education using modern methods and technologies;
• providing an opportunity to learn educational programs directly at the listener's place of residence or his temporary stay (stay);
• establishing close relations with employers and social partners in order to monitor their satisfaction with the quality of the educational process;

The work of the department consists of the following:

• Conducting activities in cooperation with faculty and department deans.
• Studying new technologies and teaching methods, looking for innovative approaches to education.
• Development and implementation of modern teaching methods using information technologies.
• Assisting educators in using and mastering new educational platforms and tools (interactive whiteboards, online platforms, and other tools).
• Organization of training and seminars for teachers on the use of new information technologies.
• Creation and support of distance education programs and courses in cooperation with the dean's office and departments.
• Provide access to online resources for students and educators.
• Analysis and optimization of the processes of introducing new technologies into the educational process.
• To develop effective methods of evaluating the knowledge and performance of the trainees.
