The Council of Young Scientists of Self-Government is a collegial and advisory body based on the principle of commonality in solving strategically important tasks.

The main goal of the Agency for Youth Affairs is to implement the rights of students in the TIPME to participate in the activities of young scientific bodies by coordinating the activities of young specialists in organizations, forming a corporate culture, and supporting student initiatives.

The main objectives of the Council's activities are:

• Formation of inter-structural interaction among various departments.
• Support of initiatives of students of the TIPME.
• Increasing the level of motivation of young students to participate in the activities of self-government bodies.
• Strengthening inter-university, inter-regional, and international relations on young scientists and community interaction.
• Formation of civic culture, active citizenship of young scientists and specialists, promotion of their social maturity, independence, ability to self-organize, and self-development.
• Informing students about the conditions and opportunities for participation in the structure of young scientists and creative, sports development.
• Organization of leisure activities, development of sports, and ideas of volunteerism among young people.
