History of the Department and Current Information
The Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel of the Center for Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers is a structure that trains highly qualified scientific, scientific and pedagogical personnel, as well as coordinates scientific research and cooperation in this area. field. This structure has been operating since the first days of the institution's establishment.
The activities of the postgraduate education system in the center are based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 16, 2017 "On Further Improvement of the Postgraduate Education System" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Minister dated May 22, 2017 "Measures for Further Improvement of the Postgraduate Education System" Established in accordance with Resolution No. 304 "On Events". Currently, 19 basic doctoral students, 3 doctoral students and 77 independent applicants (including 57 PhD, 20 DSc) conduct research work at the center. In addition, the center has created all the necessary conditions for conducting scientific research in its departments, provided with the necessary equipment, materials, information and communication tools, computer equipment, office equipment, etc. In 2017-2024, 143 research associates defended their dissertations. 95 of them received the title of Doctor of Philosophy of Medical Sciences and 48 - the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
The Center's experimental research radiological laboratory, educational research laboratory and bacteriological laboratory are fully equipped with the necessary equipment for conducting research work.
Practical assistance is provided in organizing scientific and practical conferences, seminars and master classes, and active participation of research associates. One of the areas of activity of the department is the general management of scientific, practical, fundamental and innovative projects implemented in the center, execution of contracts and preparation of reports. Today, the center employs Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Management, PhD in Medicine. Under the leadership of A.K. Khamraev, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Bank financed an international scientific grant for the project "Modernization of the National Innovation System of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (MUNIS) on the topic "Ethnogeographic Characteristics of Tuberculosis in the Southern Aral Sea Region" (REP-19022022/142) and under the leadership of Deputy Director for Research and Innovation, Head of the Department of Neonatology, PhD, Associate Professor Nasirova U.F. practical grant "Development of a new forecasting method for the prevention of diseases in premature babies is being implemented."
