History of the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention:

In 1966, a sanitary and hygienic faculty was opened at the Tashkent Institute of Advanced Medical Training (now the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers). In 2002, due to reforms in the health and education system, the faculty was renamed to Medical and Preventive Medicine.
