In the city clinical hospital №. 1 Ibn Sina, where the department is located, all conditions have been created for trainees who come for training and specialization. The practical professional skills of students in the departments of therapy, cardiology, pulmonology, allergology, endocrinology, hematology and rehabilitation are being improved.

The department conducts lectures, seminars and practical classes in all areas of internal medicine.

Employees of the department actively participate in republican and foreign scientific and practical conferences with lectures, and are also organizers of conferences.

Head of the department Ibragimov A.Yu. In 2007, he was awarded the honorary title “Honorary Health Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, in 2014 he was awarded the Order of “El-Yurt Khurmati ”, and in 2023 he was awarded the Medal of Merit, 1st degree .
