Employees of the Department of Cardiology and Gerontology actively participate in the organization of integral interdisciplinary cycles, including international ones, so on the initiative of the head of the department, a conference was held in 2017 on the topic “Features of managing patients with high cardiovascular risk” with the participation of cardiologists, therapists, endocrinologists, bariatric surgeons Apollo University Hospital (India). Employees of the department Tulaboeva G.M., Azizova F.F., Adilova I.G. completed an internship on the topic “Features of rehabilitation of patients after coronary artery bypass grafting” at the Appollo University Hospital (India). Also, together with the association of functional diagnostics “Indian Society of Electrocardiology”, an integrated 36-hour cycle “Clinical ECG” was organized, in which Professor Tulaboeva G.M. and Professor Mr. Surendirpal Singh moderated. Webinars were also held with foreign experts (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, etc.).

Employees of the department took part in the InternationalScreening of the European Society against Atherosclerosis. Employees of the department annually improve their qualifications in the CIS countries (Russian Federation, Kazakhstan) and abroad (Turkey, Spain, Latvia, Romania, etc.).

Currently, the department has createdall conditions for an effective learning process, the Internet is available and works continuously, the Moodle learning system has been implemented, which allows you to create and store electronic educational materials and set the sequence of their study. The Moodle program allows doctors to optimally and comfortably create workspaces without difficulties without leaving their main workplace, which allows them to move through the educational material in a convenient format.
