The influence of socio-demographic and clinical factors on the incidence of tuberculosis in Uzbekistan.

 

During 2019-2024, 14,122 students were trained at the department in 436 cycles in 26 titles. In particular, in order to ensure the implementation of regulatory documents of the highest bodies of state power, 18 cycles were newly developed and put into practice for the first time.

 

For the first time, mechanisms for postgraduate continuous professional education and medical practice were developed and implemented :

Formation and monitoring of the system of strategic reserve of managers of the Ministry of Health; system for coordinating interaction with regional health authorities;

The concept of organizing training, retraining and continuous professional education of managers in the system of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan (approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 291 dated November 17, 2023));

additional retraining of current managers; special thematic advanced training for persons appointed to leadership positions for the first time;

training programs on the basics of health financing and new financial mechanisms;

training system for employees of the financial service of the healthcare system;

training system for personnel responsible for working with healthcare workers;

training on organizing medical care in emergency situations;

Special educational programs “Schools of Managers”;

electronic platform “Online School of Healthcare Managers”; Headquarters “Organization of training, retraining and continuous professional education of managers in the system of the Ministry of Health”;

Integrated program with the international University of Westminster in Tashkent for the primary specialization “Health Management and Public Health”;

Coordination Council for the strategic reserve of professional managers in the system of the Ministry of Health, their retraining and radical improvement in the efficiency of improving their qualifications (with the participation of representatives of all state higher medical educational institutions).

 

Implemented and developing international projects :

“Organization of routine immunization of the population in emergency situations” together with WHO; “The influence of socio-demographic and clinical factors on the relapse of tuberculosis in Uzbekistan” together with the WHO Regional Office for Europe; “Capacity and infrastructure for health policy development – strengthening information systems for public health measures” in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute SCF; “Postgraduate Education in International Bioethics Research ” in collaboration with the US National Institutes of Health; In collaboration with the international University of Westminster in Tashkent, the introduction of joint educational programs and conducting scientific research in the specialty “Health Management and Public Health”.
