Department history

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 5590 dated December 7, 2018, the course "Clinical Allergology" was organized and renamed the department "Pulmonology with a course of clinical allergology". Professor Razikova Ilmira Sadullayevna was appointed head of the course. The clinical base of the allergology course is located at the Republican Scientific and Specialized Allergological Center. In the period from 2019 to 2022. The course has developed: a postgraduate education program in the specialty "ALLERGOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY" and 14 thematic improvement programs on the problems of "CLINICAL ALLERGOLOGY" for doctors of all specialties of the therapeutic profile. Since 2022, the clinical residency in the specialty "allergology and immunology" has been restored on the course. Along with teaching activities, the staff of the department are engaged in therapeutic activities and scientific research on the problem of "Developing a panel of markers for molecular genetic diagnosis, forecasting early development and clinical course of respiratory allergoses." The staff of the department actively participates in international, republican congresses and conferences, making presentations and demonstrating their scientific achievements. Currently, the course has all the conditions for an effective learning process, the Internet is available and works continuously. The equipment of the clinical base of the course allows clinical residents and students to optimally master allergology. The course is equipped with a computer lab, spacious classrooms and a lecture hall with multimedia equipment. Rooms for self-study of cadets with office equipment, for practical classes with the latest equipment, a library, etc., which allows you to optimize the learning process for both cadets and teachers. In addition, the equipment of the classrooms allows for long-distance communication during conference calls with colleagues during on-line conferences and consultations. According to the requirements for the preparation of curricula, new programs of continuing postgraduate education are being created on the course, enriched with modern interactive technologies and research results for allergists, general practitioners and related specialties. Every year, a cardinal revision of curricula and plans of teaching aids is carried out according to the recommendations (standards) approved by WHO, Societies of Allergologists in Europe, Russia and Uzbekistan, which is reflected in the educational and pedagogical work of the course. Each lecture and practical lesson is equipped with video materials, as an important condition for the assimilation of new modern medical knowledge in conditions of continuous postgraduate education.
