Currently, the Department of Infectious Diseases is leading specialists in the field of infectious diseases, the entire teaching staff participated in the work on COVID 19: they worked in the “red zones”, participated in the development of clinical protocols, methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Health, took part in the analysis of clinical cases of patients with COVID 19,

The department’s staff is actively engaged in international activities: together with employees of the Research Institute of Virology, they hold online conferences within the framework of telemedicine with the Shinomed clinic (India).
