The department is located at two clinical sites: the 1st City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital and the clinic of the Research Institute of Virology.

1- KIGB. At this base, cadets undergo training on the following topics: hepatitis and acute intestinal infections in pregnant women, airborne infections. .

Base 2 of the Research Institute of Virology there are the following departments: hepatitis - for patients with acute and chronic viral hepatitis, intensive care units, OKI-neonatology, intensive care unit for OKI, department for patients with HIV/AIDS, dispensary department.

The clinic has the following laboratories: clinical, biochemical, immunological, reference laboratory for the diagnosis of viral hepatitis and TORCH infections. There is also a morphological laboratory.
