The course “Military Medical Expertise” was organized on February 2, 2020 as an independent course as part of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies. The head of the course was appointed candidate of medical sciences, retired colonel of the medical service, Khozhimurodov E.E., who for a long time held the position of head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense, had extensive experience in military medical examination.

In the 2020 academic year, 70 cadets improved their knowledge and skills at the military medical examination course, and in the 2020-2024 academic year, 950 cadets.

By order of the director of the TsRPKMR No. 110-ICH dated October 7, 2021, the course of military medical examination was renamed to the department “Fundamentals of military medical examination and adolescent medicine.” By the same order E. Khozhimurodov appointed head of the department. The department improves professional training in military medical examination of doctors, specialists of medical commissions of district departments for defense affairs and regional departments for defense affairs. The cycles involve doctors: therapists, surgeons, neurologists, psychiatrists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists , dermatologists and dentists. In addition, a cycle of special training for military doctors involved in military medical examination in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been organized. To train secretaries of district (city) and regional medical commissions, a short 72-hour cycle “Organization of the work of military medical examination” was organized. From May 31, 2021, in connection with the restoration of the position of an adolescent doctor in the city (district) multidisciplinary central clinics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the department has developed a training program for the “Adolescent Medicine” cycle.

Who headed the department: Since February 2, 2020. Ph.D. Khozhimurodov E.E. appointed head of the course “Military medical examination”.

From October 2, 2021, he was appointed head of the department “Fundamentals of military medical examination and adolescent medicine”, Ph.D. Khozhimurodov E.E., Since 2023, since August, the head of the department has been appointed candidate of medical sciences. Rizaev R.M.

Scientific direction of the department : Materials on military medical examination documents , DSP, scientific practical research in the field of military medical examination:

a) Head of the department, candidate of medical sciences, retired colonel of the medical service, Khozhimurodov E.E. conducted research on the topic “Improving the medical examination of military personnel in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

b) Assistant of the department, retired lieutenant colonel of the medical service, Mamatkulov B.V. conducted research for his dissertation work on the topic “Problems of determining the causal relationship of an acquired disease (trauma) during a military medical examination and ways to solve them.”

c) Independent applicant, head of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, colonel of the medical service Saidkulov N.S. conducted research on the topic “Improving measures to reduce transfer to the reserve for health reasons of military personnel of the Ministry of Defense.”

d) Independent applicant - head of the examination department of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel of the Medical Service Berdiev Sh.R. conducted research on the topic “Improving measures to reduce dismissal into the reserve for health reasons of contract military personnel.”

Achievements and cooperation of the department (teaching work, scientific products, grants, number of publications by employees, international cooperation, employee awards, medical work):

At the department in the 2021-2024 academic year, 950 specialist doctors improved their knowledge and skills in military medical examination.

To the pulpit “Fundamentals of military medical examination and adolescent medicine” works closely with the Center for organizing medical care for adolescents and conscript youth of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Military Medical Commissions of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the State Security Service.

Specialists of the department participate in the preparation of regulatory documents on military medical examination, in the process of conscription into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Department specialists conduct classes on military medical examination at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan , at the Central Military Clinic of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as in garrison hospitals, provide methodological assistance to specialists of the Republican Alternative Medical Commission, members of 14 military medical commissions under the departments of affairs defense of the Republic of Karakalpakstan , regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as members of more than 200 medical commissions at district (city) departments for defense affairs.
