ABDULLA MUHARRAMOVICH UBAYDULLAYEV

 

A.M. Ubaydullayev, doctor of medical sciences, professor, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as an honorary member of the European Respiratory Society (Paris), a member of the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases (Paris), New York Sciences academician of the Academy, member of the board of "Inter-asthma Russia - MDX Society" (Moscow), Doctor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow), Chairman of the Society of Pulmonologists of Uzbekistan (Tashkent), Vice-President of the Central Asian Association of Pulmonologists (Tashkent), Elect-President of the Euro-Asian Association of Pulmonologists.

Abdulla Muharramovich Ubaydullayev is a well-known internal medicine scientist in Central Asia, director of the Institute of Physiology and Pulmonology, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is the head of the department of pulmonology and clinical allergology of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers (Tashkent Medical Institute of the post-graduate medical education), and also he is the head of the department of pulmonology and clinical allergology, worked as the chief pulmonologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a medical worker who served in Uzbekistan.

He was born in 1934. He graduated from Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1958. In 1956-1958 he was a paramedic at the 1st city clinical hospital of Tashkent, in 1958-1960 he was an ordinator at the department of therapy of the Tashkent Medical Institute of the post-graduate medical education. He worked as a graduate student in 1961-1963, assistant in 1964-1967, and associate professor in 1967-1968. In 1965, he defended his candidate's thesis, and in 1974, he defended his doctoral thesis in Moscow. In 1978, he was one of the first in the former union to establish the department of clinical pulmonology at the Tashkent Medical Institute of the post-graduate medical education.

He received the title of professor in 1979 and headed this department until 2014. For 11 years (1975-1986), he worked as the dean of the faculty of therapy at TashVMOI, and later as the vice-rector for treatment.

In 1986, he was appointed as the director of the Institute of Scientific Investigation of Silesia. Under his leadership, the scope of scientific and practical work at the institute was expanded and scientific work on the development of the science of pulmonology was laid. The school of pulmonologists, created by him, works on the epidemiology and genetic aspects of non-specific lung diseases, and great work is being done on the prevention and treatment of lung diseases.

The "Institute of Scientific Investigation of Tuberculosis" was named "Institute of Scientific Investigation of Phthisiology and Pulmonology" from 1989 according to A.Ubaydullayev's proposal.

Since 2014, he has been a professor of the Department of Pulmonology and Clinical Allergology at the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers (Tashkent Medical Institute of the post-graduate medical education).

A. Ubaydullayev studied the timely detection of broncho-pulmonary diseases in our republic, the effect of heredity, treatment, and the effect of environmental changes on its origin. During this time, more than 6,000 pulmonologists and general practitioners are actively participating in training in our Republic. Under his leadership, 25 doctoral and 39 candidate theses were defended.

A. Ubaydullayev trained 25 doctors of medical sciences and 39 candidates of sciences and created an important school of pulmonologists in Uzbekistan. Today, the scientist's students are selflessly serving in the way of scientific development in Uzbekistan, Russia and other Central Asian republics, as well as in the United States of America.

A. Ubaydullayev published more than 700 scientific articles, more than 100 of them in foreign countries, 20 monographs, 5 inventions, more than 30 methodological manuals for doctors. On his initiative, in 1978, the Department of Pulmonology and Clinical Allergology and the Republican Pulmonology Service were established within the Tashkent Medical Institute of the post-graduate medical education, one of the first in the former union.

A.Ubaydullayev has participated in more than 40 international congresses, conferences and meetings in terms of his specialty and scientific and practical interests, and is striving to strengthen relations with regional organizations in Europe (Bucharest, Budapest, London, Paris, Barcelona, ​​Berlin, Innsburg, Nice, Brussels, Vienna, Geneva, Glasgow, etc.), Asian countries (Dakhli, Bombay, Istanbul, Antalya), USA (New York, Washington, Chicago), he is a patriotic scientist who consistently highlights the achievements of the science of phthisia and pulmonology in Uzbekistan when he participates in major conferences in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, almost all the capitals of former Union republics) and other countries.

The multifaceted whole life of a scientist with high human qualities is a criterion of service dedicated to science and the people.

Today, the disciples and followers of Abdulla Muharramovich are successfully working in various industries and sectors of our country, as well as in foreign countries, continuing his work.
