KASIMOVA MUNIRAKHON SADIKZHANOVNA
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, TashIUV
She was born in Tashkent in 1967 in a family of employees, Uzbek nationality. In 1990 M.S. Kasimova graduated from the Tashkent Medical Institute with honors, and was enrolled as a clinical resident of the Department of Ophthalmology. In 1996 she was admitted to the postgraduate course of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Tashkent Institute for the Improvement of Doctors. In 1998, under the guidance of Prof. H.M. Kamilova defended her Ph.D. thesis.
In 2000 -2017. M.S. Kasimova worked as an associate professor of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Tashkent Institute for the Improvement of Doctors. Since 2017 he has been working as a professor at this department.
At the Department of Ophthalmology TashIUV she carried out scientific research on the development and application of new methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute circulatory disorders in the vessels of the retina and optic nerve.
In 2009 M.S. Kasimova defended her doctoral dissertation under the guidance of Professor Kh.M. Kamilov. She has trained 2 doctors of philosophy (PhD) in ophthalmology.
In 2013 M.S. Kasimova was appointed head of the international department of the Tashkent Institute for the Improvement of Doctors. M.S. Kasimova is the Deputy Chairman of the Academic Council of TashIUV, a member of the special council for dentistry, ophthalmology and ENT diseases.

Since 2017, he has been working as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology at Tashkent Institute of Higher Education.
