The Center for Continuing Medical Education, in collaboration with the Department of "Public Health and Healthcare Management," established systematic cooperation with territorial health management bodies and higher medical education institutions regarding continuous professional training for managerial staff.

In order to implement the directive of the Director of the Center for Continuing Medical Education dated March 5, 2025, No. 44-ich "On conducting an integrated thematic advanced training course on 'Fundamentals of Healthcare and Public Health Management' for heads of institutions under the jurisdiction of the Health Management Department of Fergana Region," the first integrated thematic advanced training cycle worth 72 credits was conducted in a hybrid format from May 19 to May 31, 2025.

As part of this hybrid cycle, from May 26 to May 31, 2025, alongside conducting an off-site module, the department actively worked on developing territorial cooperation. Specifically, negotiations were held with leaders: Head of the Health Department of Fergana Region B.K. Primkulov, Rector of Fergana Institute of Public Health A.A. Sidikov, and Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs F.Yu. Yuldashev. During these negotiations, an analysis was conducted on areas of cooperation between the Center for Advanced Training of Medical Workers, the Health Department of Fergana Region, and the Fergana Institute of Public Health. Topics discussed included training and retraining as well as continuous professional education for managerial staff in the healthcare system in Fergana Region; integration educational programs; academic mobility; and conducting joint scientific research. As a result of these negotiations, a "Roadmap" for cooperation between the Center for Advanced Training of Medical Workers, the Health Department of Fergana Region, and the Fergana Institute of Public Health in health management and public health protection was developed for 2025-2027. This roadmap was agreed upon by all parties and signed by leaders from each organization. As a first step in this collaboration, faculty members were introduced to the main campus of Fergana Institute of Public Health on May 31, 2025. Professor D.A. Asadov from the "Public Health and Healthcare Management" department participated in the opening ceremony for a newly established library on campus. Additionally, as part of academic mobility activities, Professor D.A. Asadov delivered a lecture to faculty members and students at the institute (approximately 250 attendees), focusing on another stage in reforming the country’s healthcare system.
